I am now part of Project2, an exciting new design and development company based out of Birmingham UK. We do everything from brand development to website design and you can find out more about us at weareproject2.com. We’re currently involved in a few different projects, which I’ll talk more about in the future on this blog.

I am primarily a developer for c# asp.net web & windows forms applications but am confident in a few different languages. My job and research work means I can’t afford to get comfortable using just one language or OS and I’ve had to rapidly learn new technologies. This is a good thing but it does mean jumping between sometimes entirely different platforms, which has taken a while to get used to.

In just the last month I’ve done work in robotics, speech and gesture, web design and development, license administration, network admin etc etc as part of my drive to gain new skills and find the most interesting field of IT to work in!
